Ordering

As we are a complete online based business, all of our ordering is done online through EsteemKids.com. If one of our items is listed out of stock and you desparately must have it, please use our contact page and let us know! We may have it on the way and can reserve the item for you. We are willing to special order anything from the product lines we carry, so if you would like one of our items in a specific colour or size, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Local Powell River Orders
All instock items can be delivered the next business day. If you have chosen to pay by cash/cheque, arrangements must be made for COD- we won't be able to leave your parcel without payment, so please contact us as soon as possible to make the quickest arrangements.

All items that are special order or direct order will be placed the following business day and will be shipped directly to you. Some companies have a once a week shipping policy, so if you are worried about timing for delivery, please contact us to find out approximate shipping times before placing your order.

ITEMS THAT ARE DIRECTLY SHIPPED FROM A COMPANY WILL SAY SO IN THEIR PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!

Esteem Kids is not resposible for any duties or custom fees that the customer must pay when shipping internationally (United States). Please be aware of your country's regulations!

Payment methods include Paypal and Online Credit Card Procession through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to pay with your credit card of choice and it is completely secure- we do not have access to your account information during this transaction.

Paypal echeck orders will be shipped once they have cleared- please be aware of the processing times of paypal echeck before you place your order.

If you live in Powell River, BC- you have the option to pay cash/cheque upon delivery of your order. Please note that an NSF check will be charged a $25 service fee! Orders over $100 will require a certified cheque. Thanks for your understanding!

Orders to be delivered to British Columbia will be subject to 7% PST on applicable items. Many baby and children items are not taxable. BC residents are also subject to 6% GST

Orders delivered to the Maritime Provinces of Canada will be subject to 14% HST that will be added during the processing of orders.

Any orders being delivered to outside of Canada will not be subject to any taxes. Be aware of the duties and customs fees that you may have to pay when the order is shipped to your country! We are not responsible for those fees!

All prices on the website are listed in Canadian currency. If you are curious how much it will cost you in your currency, please visit http://www.xe.com for approximate exchange rates. Please be aware that your bank/credit card institution may have a slightly different rate.

It is our goal to bring great products to our local residents of Powell River, BC! We are aware of the travel/shipping/duties/customs costs that most of our local shoppers have to go through in order to find goods for babies and children. Our prices will be competitive with the larger stores, without all of the extras!

All international orders will be charged US shipping prices at checkout, but please be aware that due to the size and weight of the item, you may be sent an adjusted invoice!

We understand that shipping costs can sometimes appear to be very expensive and we strive to charge fair value for them! If the cost of shipping the item is significantly less than what you were charged automatically upon checkout, we will refund the difference (we take in to account the cost of packaging in this equation)

Bumbos, Bosom Babies Nursing Pillows and Tummy Tubs will be charged a base rate of $13.95 for shipping- we have kept our mark-up low to make this worthwhile for you!

I'm sorry but we are not held accountable for any packages that are lost in the mail. If you suspect that a parcel has been misplaced, please contact Paypal or your Credit Card company.

You have the option to pay for insurance and/or tracking on a parcel- please let us know at checkout and we will find out the cost for these services.

All of the products that are able to be purchased through our site are available to be shipped by us or directly from the company. We do our best to keep up on direct ship inventory!

If an item is out of stock, please contact us to find out when it will next be available for purchase. Please also look at our "Coming Soon" section to see what will be arriving!

We are very open to special orders of products, especially for our local customers! Please be aware that some companies can have special orders placed anytime and some companies require a minimum order, meaning that we will be able to place your special order at the time we place our own inventory order. Contact us to find out how soon you can have your special gift!

We have a gift registry for expectant moms, new babies and birthdays! Items can be placed on your list and can be viewed by your loved ones.

Be aware that if an item you have in your list becomes out of stock, it may not show up on your gift registry list- also, at this time, out of stock items can not be added to a gift registry.

We recommend the best thing to do is to create your registry and then email us a complete list of everything you request in every size/colour, etc. Let your guests know to contact us, and then we can email them your complete gift registry list!

We never sell your information! We only use your contact info to personally contact you about your order. We have no access to any credit card/bank account numbers as it is completely done through paypal's secure process!

All items have a 14 day return policy from the date that it has been delivered. If the item is a gift- please request a gift receipt at the time of purchase. This will give the recipient 3 months from the date of purchase to return the item to us. We cannot accept used or washed merchandise as a return.
